Carl Sagan on the budget the US has spent on the entire Cold War without being 100% certain of its necessity. He then explains the absurdity of avoiding to spend money to mitigate climate change due to the projections not being 100% certain.

As early as 1990 he also stated that even without global warming every measure taken against climate change would be a net positive for the world. 🤯🤯🤯
